Final Super Florida 25

Here are the final rankings of the All-Class Super Florida 25 Poll consisting of the best HS football teams in the toughest football state in the nation of high-school football.

Super Florida 25 Poll.

1. Dwyer 14-1
The 4A Champion Dwyer Panthers statically had the state's best offense, and defense, and were finally able to be state champion At 14-1. Dwyer lost their season opener, but ringed up 14 straight victories enroute to the title in Orlando. The Panthers had more than enough talent to win 4A this year, but they still have plenty to repeat as champion.

2. Miramar 14-1
The Patriots became Broward's first 6A champion as they dominated DeLand 42-20 to finish their quest as champions of 6A. Miramar now must prepare for it's title defense with fresh young talent.

3. Plant 13-1
The Panthers escaped the 5A Class as champion when almost everyone had Lakeland, or Aquinas as the team to raise up the 5A crown. after suffering their first defeat in week one to Tampa Bay Tech, but the Panthers regrouped quickly and found their stride just in time before the playoffs.

4. Cocoa 14-0
There's only one undefeated team in our Top 25 Poll, and they are the back-to-back state champion Cocoa Tigers. Cocoa averaged 36 Points this season, and allowed their opponents to an average of 7.5 points. Cocoa's only tough games was Bayside, Rockledge, Godby, and state power Glades Central who they defeated in the 2A final.

5. Miami Central 12-2
Destined to have their first football title in school history, but in the state semifinal Miramar dashed any hopes of the Rockets reaching Orlando. Central Is believed to acquire QB Rakeem Cato from Miami Springs, if that's the case the Rockets would be in good shape to start their quest for gold again.

6. Miami Northwestern 10-2
Northwestern should be back in the hunt for the 6A state crown with talented recruit QB Teddy Bridgewater, but if the Bulls want to get back to the zenith of 6A football, they must improve their defense to assist the powerful scoring attack.

7. St. Thomas Aquinas 13-1
The defending national champions had their time run out in Bradenton, FL in the game before state. The Raiders had won 37 straight games before the loss. Aquinas' bid for a sixth state title, and back-to-back national titles went by the boards.

8. Manatee 13-2
The Canes were able to knock off the defending national champion to get to the 5A state title game, but were upended in the showdown to Plant who successfully won the 4A & 5A title in two straight seasons.

9. Lakeland 13-1
The Dreadnaughts was seeking revenge from last year's beatdown to St. Thomas, but Plant had other ideas in store that night as they roughed up Lakeland 20-0 en route to the 5A crown.

10. DeLand 13-2
The Bulldogs were one game away from being state champions of Class 6A, but Miramar wasn't about to let that happen. DeLand's title dreams were crushed by Miramar 42-20.

The Rest Of The Poll.
